Barista One course
The Barista One course is a comprehensive entry-level program designed to bring newcomers to professional café standard behind the espresso machine. It covers both the theory and the practical foundations required to work confidently in a modern speciality coffee environment.
Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for baristas entering the Middle East market (including Dubai/UAE) or home-baristas who wish to turn professional.
What the course includes
  • Lifetime access to the online material: seven chapters, over 40 video lessons plus animated GIFs and supporting content.
  • 58 individual lessons in total (often referenced) and approximately 30 hours of study including lessons, assessments and home-experiments.
  • Self-paced online format: you can study on computer or mobile device.
  • Access to a final assessment (quiz) after completing all lessons and comprehension tests; upon passing (80% or higher) you receive a Barista Hustle Accredited Certificate.
  • Designed for beginners: if you can hold a portafilter, this course is for you.
What you will learn
The foundational mechanics of espresso: dosing, distribution, tamping, extraction.
Milk texturing and steaming, plus introduction to latte art.
Menu drink preparation (black, white, iced coffee) and standard cafe workflows: organising your station, working efficiently, hygiene behind the bar.
Terminology, equipment part-names, café environment expectations: this isn’t about recipe design, it drills how to follow recipes consistently and what to do when things go wrong.
Practical component (in some partner training formats): after the online modules you may complete a hands-on session where you make drinks under real conditions (e.g., making 4 lattes to specification within time limits) and receive feedback.
